Chicago) Odyssey Cruises announces the launch of its Moonlight Lounge Cruise series - an elegant and unique late night venue, perfect for topping off a romantic evening, special occasion or night out. Guests will enjoy live entertainment performed by a three-piece lounge combo featuring a torchlight singer on the Sapphire Deck as well as a romantic solo guitarist on the outdoor Observation Deck. Odyssey Cruises launches its 2007 season with an
updated menu and three new cruise options

(May 2, 2007 - Chicago, IL) New season, new cruises and an updated menu make Odyssey Cruises the destination to celebrate this summer season and beyond. Odyssey Cruises, docked at Navy Pier, is Chicago's premier luxury cruising vessel, providing first-class service, distinctive cuisine, excellent entertainment and spectacular skyline views. The 2007 season boasts a revamped menu featuring eclectic selections with influences from Europe, Asia and the Americas. In addition, three new elegant cruise options are being added to this year's exciting cruise lineup.

"Our new cruises and updated menu continue to support Odyssey's unwavering commitment to outstanding service, exquisite cuisine and refined entertainment amidst an elegant atmosphere," said Dan Russell, vice president and general manager of Odyssey Cruises. Odyssey prides itself on exceptional cuisine prepared fresh onboard daily by Executive Chef Leonel Martinez and his galley staff. The menu promises to delight with a diverse array of delectable new dishes and Odyssey favorites, combining the finest ingredients, exciting flavors and unforgettable presentations. The most discerning of palates will be satisfied.

Lunch and dinner entrees include a uniquely prepared Roasted Duck Confit with cherry balsamic demi-glace served atop a double ripe plantain cake and garnished with sun-dried cherries and candied pecans. New this season is the Baby Wedge Salad with crisp wedges of baby lettuce topped with pink peppercorns, marinated red onion, grape tomatoes and Champagne-truffle vinaigrette. Also being introduced in 2007 is the savory Pacific Rim Lobster Bisque with crème fraiche and a touch of Sherry.

Main course options offer a twist on the pork chop presented as a double-boned French trimmed chop, grilled and finished with a lemon rosemary wine reduction and served with citrus herb roasted potatoes (available for dinner only). The new Tuscan Chicken is prepared with pan-seared chicken breast rubbed with fresh herbs and accompanied by escarole, Tuscan white bean ragu with pancetta and red pepper, and finished with Asiago cheese.

Brunch on Odyssey features an enticing buffet menu that encompasses everything from traditional breakfast fare to more eclectic selections. New additions include an Asian Chicken Salad with sesame chicken, carrots, scallions, bean sprouts, and tomatoes plus crispy wonton noodles placed on a bed of exotic mixed greens and tossed in a sesame ginger dressing; Tri-color Tortellini from imported tortellini pasta combined with roasted red peppers, broccoli, wild mushrooms and grape tomatoes in a Parmesan pesto cream; and Vegetable Balsamico made with roasted seasonal vegetables tossed in a pomodoro sauce and topped with Asiago breadcrumbs. Additionally, young guests can choose from an assortment of items created specifically with their tastes in mind.
